Trim Levels (Exterior)

There are four trim levels available for the 2020 Jeep Gladiator: Sport, Sport S, Overland, and Rubicon. You can choose from hardtop and soft top, and a fold-down windshield and removable doors are included as standard equipment.

The Sport rolls on 17-inch black steel wheels, the Sport S has 17-inch tech silver aluminum wheels, the Overland rides on 18-inch granite crystal aluminum wheels, and the Rubicon sports 33-inch off-road tires with high clearance fender flares. The Rubicon features a vented hood, steel off-road rock rails, and red tow hooks. The Overland stands out with side steps and body-color fender flares.

Engine (Power)

Under the hood of the 2020 Gladiator is a 3.6-liter 24V VVT engine with ESS paired with a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic transmission. The engine cranks out 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque.


The 2020 Gladiator can tow up to 7,650 pounds and has a payload of up to 1,600 pounds, depending on the model. All models include a Class II receiver hitch, so you can tow your boat or trailer to the lake or back roads. Loading and unloading gear is simplified thanks to the steel bed with three-position tailgate.

Navigate obstacles with ease thanks to power steering, Fox shocks, lockable wide track axles, and an electronic disconnecting front sway bar to aid in navigating obstacles. Heavy-duty Dana 44 front and rear axles are standard equipment on all 2020 models. Step up to the Rubicon trim level and you'll also get a Rock-Trac 4x4 system with crawl ratio of up to 84:1, and locking front and rear differentials.


Sport and Sport S come standard with sport cloth bucket seats. Upgrade to the Overland or Rubicon trim level and you'll get a leather-wrapped steering wheel, silver platinum I/P bezels, and door trim panels. Treat yourself by opting for the available leather-trimmed seats.

Uconnect is standard on all models and includes navigation and app compatibility. The Sport and Sport S have a 5-inch touchscreen display, the Rubicon has a 7-inch touchscreen, and the Overland has a large, 8.4-inch touchscreen. Removable Bluetooth wireless speakers make it easy to take the tunes with you once you arrive at your destination. Get a good look at what's ahead by opting for the forward-facing TrailCam off-road camera.

Safety Features

The 2020 Jeep Gladiator comes standard with a variety of safety features including ParkView rear back up camera, anti-lock four-wheel disc HD brakes, hydraulic assist brake booster, electronic roll mitigation, advanced multistage front air bags, supplemental front seat side air bags, hill start assist, traction control, and trailer sway control. Signature LED headlamps and taillamps, adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning with active braking, and 110-MPH vehicle max speed calibration are included in the Overland trim. The Rubicon features 97-MPH vehicle max speed calibration.
