Beautiful picture of a red 2018 Chrysler 300 parked in front of a garage. The 2019 Chrysler 300 will go into production likely at the beginning of the end of this summer. This is what you can expect from the 2019 Chrysler 300 model.

Trim Levels

Although no additional trim levels are on offer for the 2019 Chrysler 300, drivers are still getting used to the new 2018 trim changes. The year of 2018 brought many changes within the 300 trim levels including a new Limited edition, so expect fewer new features for the next model year.

Power

The current Chrysler 300 features two engine options including the 3.6-liter V6 in the Limited Touring model and the 5.7-liter V8 in the C model. The current model produces 300 horsepower with 270 pound-feet of torque power. A few rumors have suggested that the 2019 Chrysler 300 will feature a similar makeup with a possible Hemi V-8 engine that produces 465 horsepower.

Exterior Design

From a visual aspect, there are not any major changes to the exterior of the 2019 Chrysler 300. However, some believe that the 2019 model could be designed on a different base. The new base, specifically the Pacifica platform, has not yet been confirmed.

One thing we do know is that the Pacifica platform would bring significant drivability changes to the familiar Chrysler 300 platform. A few upgrades that we can expect to see on the exterior design of the 2019 Chrysler 300 are a refined exhaust system, an improved brake design, and updated LED head and taillights.

Interior Design

Chrysler has developed a reputation for designing interiors that are luxurious and comfortable. We expect nothing less from the 2019 Chrysler 300. A few upgrades to the interior that we can expect to see include an improved steering wheel, upgraded technology, and a more spacious interior. Although the interior cabin size is unlikely to change much, the layout of the technology and driver features will likely result in a more organized cockpit.

Much of the technological features will remain the same including the available touchscreen Uconnect system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Drivers can still upgrade to the Sirius XM with the guardian feature for improved safety and hands-free capability. There will still be a convenient media hub available for the driver and the front seat passenger for easy to reach storage and smartphone connectivity.

Safety

There will be minimal changes in terms of safety to the Chrysler 300. Current safety features already include a forward collision warning with brake system, a lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control with stop ability, and a blind spot monitoring system.

Parking safety features include front and rear park assist, a rear cross path detection system, and advanced brake assist. These advanced safety features will still be available across all trim levels of the 2019 Chrysler 300.

Although the exact sale date of the 2019 Chrysler 300 has not yet been released, we are starting to get a look at what to expect. Come by Rodeo Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram to see our current inventory of Chrysler 300 vehicles.
