Festivals often mark the start of the summer season. These are some of the best upcoming festivals in the Phoenix area.
2018 Party in the Pines
The 2018 Party in the Pines will take place on June 2, 2018, from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. This annual fundraising event is held by the Prescott Area Young Professionals group. This adult-only event will benefit the PUSD Education Foundation. There will be craft beers, live music, and plenty of exciting games. Upgrade your tickets to the VIP section which will get you exclusive seating and the best views of the event.
Lavender Festival
The 15th Annual Lavender Festival will take place on June 21 to June 24 and then again June 28 until July 1, 2018. The festival runs from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. each day. There are two ticket options available with the $7 ticket getting you admission and one lavender bouquet. The $12 ticket fee gets you admission, one lavender bouquet, one wine tasting admission, and 10% off all wine bottle purchases within the festival. The festival has many events planned including lavender discussions, cooking tastings, and plenty of on-site food vendors to try.
Annual Flagstaff Art in the Park
This art enthusiast event will take place from June 29 until July 1, 2018. The event is from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Sunday. This 12th annual event features the artwork of over 100 of the best local artists. It includes fine arts, fine crafts, and live music all weekend long. There is an on-site wine garden area, local food vendors, and plenty of shaded grassy areas to sit back and enjoy the event.
Medieval Mayhem in the White Mountains
The 11th annual Mayhem in the White Mountains is a medieval Renaissance festival that takes place from July 6 to July 8, 2018, at the Mountain Meadow Recreation Complex. Many festival attendees follow the medieval theme and dress in their best Renaissance attire.
There will also be live music, dancers, and sword fighting demonstrations. Food vendors are featuring local cuisines from the Renaissance eras. There is an even an exclusive children’s area with bouncy houses and presentations for toward younger children. Tickets are just $10 per person for adults and $5 for children. Children under the age of 5 are free.
Flagstaff Food Truck Festival
The Flagstaff Food Truck Festival features over 30 of the best local food truck vendors. The event will take place on July 14, 2018, from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. There is a $3 suggested donation price that will benefit a local charity. Children under the age of 12 and under are free. There will also be cold drink stops, live musical events, and free parking available.
