It doesn’t rain very often in Queen Creek, but when it does there are plenty of things you can do inside to stay busy and entertained. Whether you have kids and want something fun to do with them, or you have plans with friends, you can find something in and around the Queen Creek area. Here are some rainy day activities worth checking out.

What better time to get a relaxing massage than when it is raining outside. This place offers a variety of different treatments including a 60-minute massage or a customized healthy skin facial. 2. Az Grip-N-Rip Batting Cages
Have kids who want to work on their swing? Head to Az Grip-N-Rip batting cages on a rainy day. This facility has both baseball and softball training areas with pitching mounds, batting cages, and pitching machines. You can rent a cage or pitching mound for 30 to 60 minutes, and if you want to get regular practice in, there is a clubhouse membership. Pay a monthly fee for easy access to all the equipment and receive a discount on camps and clinics.
3. See A Show At Queen Creek Arts Center
There is nothing like seeing a live performance, and the Queen Creek Arts Center offers all types of shows from musicals to concerts and plays. Some of the upcoming shows include Buddy, Ritchie & The Big Bopper, and Remembering Patsy Cline featuring Monica Heuser. The family theater series will perform Annie in January, and the in the spring, Disney’s The Little Mermaid Jr will hit the stage. The arts center also offers workshops and camps for kids who want to get involved in the theater.
4. Shopping
Rainy days are perfect for shopping inside, and the Power Square Mall in Mesa is completely indoors. This shopping center has something for everyone including antiques, clothing for all ages, books, and jewelry. There is even a gymnastics school in the mall and a reflexology spa. You can also head over to Superstition Springs Center for even more shopping. This large mall has large anchor stores such as J.C. Penney, Ashley Furniture Home Store, and Best Buy, along with many smaller specialty stores. You’ll also find plenty of restaurants when you want to stop for lunch.
5. See A Movie
Head to SanTan Village 16 Theaters for a rainy day movie. This large theater has 16 theaters and plays all the latest movies. It features Ultimate Rocker seating, digital sound, and stadium seating for the ultimate movie watching experience. You can see 3D movies, visit the expanded snack bar, and even let the little kids play at the in-lobby child play center.
Don’t let a rainy day get in the way of your fun. There are plenty of activities in and around the Queen Creek area to keep everyone entertained even if you have to stay indoors.
