Horseshoe Park and Equestrian Centre

Horseshoe Park and Equestrian Centre is a beautiful 38-acre facility that’s located in Queen Creek and hosts a number of exciting events throughout the year. Some of the popular equestrian shows and competitions that take place at the arena include dressage shows, barrel racing, mounted shooting, gymkhana, reining, and roping.

Queen Creek Olive Mill

Queen Creek Olive Mill is more than just an olive farm. When you visit, you can take the 45-minute tour to learn more about olive oil, its health benefits, and how to correctly taste it. After the tour, be sure to stop by the gourmet market to purchase extra virgin olive oil, stuffed olives, tapenades, sauces, and more. Or check out the Olivespa area for all-natural skin care products made with nourishing olive oil. If you’re hungry, the on-site restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

San Tan Mountain Regional Park

When you want to get outside and explore the desert, head to the over 10,000-acre San Tan Mountain Regional Park. Here you’ll find plenty of opportunities for mountain biking, horseback riding, hiking, and picnicking. Trails range in length from less than a mile to over 6 miles, so you’ll be able to find something to match your skill level. Along the way, you’ll enjoy stunning views of desert scenery while learning more about the plants and animals that live there.

MD Ranch LLC

One of the unique ways of exploring San Tan Mountain Regional Park is on horseback, and MD Ranch LLC lets you do just that. You have several different trail ride options available. The daytime rides range from an hour to 4 hours. For a stunning view of the scenic land, consider the sunrise or sunset ride. The full moon rides let you see the desert in an entirely new way. If you want to plan something special for a loved one, you can also book the date ride, which guarantees a memorable ride for just the two of you.

Mansel Carter Oasis Park

If you’re interested in an attraction the entire family will enjoy, plan to spend some time at the 48-acre Mansel Carter Oasis Park. The shipwreck-themed splash pad is the perfect spot to cool down on a hot day. You can also check out the 5-acre fishing lake, which is stocked with rainbow trout, channel catfish, sunfish, and largemouth bass. If you want to play some sports, the park also has two lighted basketball courts, two sand volleyball courts, four lighted baseball fields, and two lighted multi-purpose fields.
