If you’ve been thinking about getting one of the new two-door Jeep Wrangler models, you might know you have three trim levels available. However, what you might not know is which one is right for you. Learn more about the features you’ll find on each model so you can choose the Wrangler that will suit your needs.

The Jeep Wrangler Sport is the starting trim level of the two-door models. The Sport comes standard with a black Sunrider soft top, although you also have the option of getting a black Freedom Top three-piece hard top. Other conveniences that come standard on the Wrangler Sport include halogen headlights, fog lights, and incandescent taillights. Inside the Sport you’ll find cloth seats, illuminated cup holders, and a lockable glove box.

When you hit the road, you’ll enjoy the power and performance of a 3.6-liter V-6 engine that works with a six-speed manual transmission to deliver 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. If you prefer, you also have the option of an eight-speed automatic transmission. No matter which transmission you choose, the engine has the power to offer a maximum towing capacity of 2,000 pounds.

To stay connected when you’re on the road, the Sport has an infotainment system that comes standard with a 5-inch touch-screen display, eight-speaker audio system, audio input jack, USB and auxiliary port media hub, voice command controls using Bluetooth, and audio controls mounted on the steering wheel. If you’re interested in safety, you’ll be pleased to know the Sport comes standard with a rearview camera, advanced brake assist, hill start assist, electronic stability control, electronic roll mitigation, traction control, and a tire pressure monitoring system.

Sport S

The next model in the two-door Jeep Wrangler lineup is the Sport S. This model includes everything from the Sport plus a few extras. The exterior includes automatic headlights and heated power mirrors. Climb inside the Sport S and the convenience features include air conditioning, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, power windows with a one-touch down feature on the front windows, and speed sensitive power locks. The Sport S is also the only model that has the option of adding a heated steering wheel.

Rubicon

The top-of-the-line Jeep Wrangler Rubicon builds on the conveniences from the other two models to offer you even more impressive features. On the outside, you’ll find daytime running lights. The Rubicon is the only trim level that lets you add leather-trimmed seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and leather-wrapped shift knob.

It’s also the only trim level to include air conditioning with automatic temperature controls and an air filtering system, ambient LED interior lighting, and a universal garage door open. The infotainment system in the Rubicon gets an upgrade to include a 7-inch touch-screen display, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and an integrated center stack radio.

The three trim levels of the two-door Jeep Wrangler offer plenty of sporty fun and style. Now that you know the similarities and differences between the models, you should be able to decide one is perfect for you.
