GM Trail.Queen Creek, Arizona, has plenty of exciting things to do, especially for kids. Whether you live in the area and need something to entertain the children for the day or you’re visiting and want to have something fun for the kids to do, everyone will have a great time when you check out these family-friendly attractions in Queen Creek.

San Tan Mountain Regional Park

Consisting of over 10,000 acres of protected land, San Tan Mountain Regional Park is an excellent place to visit when you’re looking to teach your children about the desert ecosystem. The park has over 8 miles of trails for mountain biking, hiking, and horseback riding. One of the most popular trails for families is the 1.3-mile Moonlight Trail, which offers a short but scenic hike. If you visit in the evening for one of the stargazing programs, you’ll enjoy a stunning view and learn plenty of interesting facts about space.

Schnepf Farms

Although Schnepf Farms started out growing everything from cotton to vegetables, today the farm is an exciting destination that has plenty to offer. The pick-your-own organic garden always has something ready for harvest. If you visit during peach season, you won’t want to miss the opportunity to head out to the pick-your-own orchards for some of the best peaches in the country. You can also stop by to check out the petting barn, go for a train ride, take a farm tour, or check out the fresh goods at the farm store.

Desert Mountain Park

If you’re interested in spending some time outside, the award-winning Desert Mountain Park has an incredible selection of things to do. Inside this 29-acre park, you’ll find two sand volleyball courts, two lighted basketball courts, two lighted multi-purpose fields, and four lighted Little League fields. The park also features two playgrounds — one designed for children who are between the ages of 2 and 5 and another designed for children between 5 and 12 years of age.

Founders’ Park

Located in the heart of Queen Creek and across the street from Town Hall, the 11-acre Founders’ Park is a community gathering spot that always has something going on. Come out and watch a game at the lighted softball field or light multi-purpose field. You can also enjoy your own game on the two lighted basketball courts or horseshoe pits. If you need a place to cool down on a hot summer day, the Splash Pad at Founders’ Park offers over 4,000 square feet of various above-ground water features.

Mansel Carter Oasis Park

The 48-acre Mansel Carter Oasis Park is one of the newest parks in Queen Creek, and it has plenty of amenities for the entire family to enjoy. Come see what’s biting at the 5-acre fishing lake, let the kids burn some energy at the multiple playgrounds, take the little kids to the sand discovery dig zone, or cool down at the shipwreck-themed splash pad.

If you’re interested in doing something fun with the kids in Queen Creek, you know everyone will have a great time when you check out some of these outstanding options.
