Prowl and Play at the Phoenix Zoo: Superheroes Unite
Check out Prowl and Play at the Phoenix Zoo on June 9, 2019, from 5:30-8:30 p.m. for superhero night. At the event, you can meet and capture a photo with your favorite superhero characters. Enjoy the DJ dance party, games, crafts, and water slides. There will also be opportunities to see some of the animals during the extended zoo hours, too.

Elevate Music Festival
The Elevate Music Festival will be held at Grand Canyon University from June 21-23, 2019. The festival features three full nights of concerts from a variety of local artists. The artists performing include Danny Gokey, Lincoln Brewster, Ryan Stevenson, Carrollton, Jeremey Camp, Phil Wickham, Hollyn, Micah Tyler, Austin French, Building 429, Plumb, Unspoken, Colton Dixon, Jonny Diaz, and Land of Color. You can either purchase a single day ticket or enjoy the entire performance with a three-day ticket.

Luau Party at the Splash Pad
Cool off from the Arizona heat this summer at a luau! There will be a luau party at the Mansel Carter Oasis Park’s splash pad in nearby Queen Creek on July 13, 2019, from 6-8 p.m. Entertainment, games, music, and food trucks are all catered to the Hawaiian theme. All ages are welcome at this event so bring the family and have some fun.

Real Wild and Woody Beer Festival
The Real Wild and Woody Beer Festival is scheduled for July 28, 2019, at the Phoenix Convention Center from 2-6 p.m. Over 75 craft brewers will be selling their most popular brews at the event. More than 350 craft beers will be available, allowing festival-goers to try some of the best Arizona brews. The festival offers much more than beer as it is partnered with some of the top local restaurants that will also be serving delicious food. Additionally, attendees can listen and enjoy some great music from local artists.

The Phoenix Salsa/Bachata Festival
The Phoenix Salsa/Bachata Festival is a three-day festival that is scheduled from August 23-26, 2019. The festival will take place at The Camby, a boutique hotel, offering the perfect atmosphere for this dance extravaganza. Three separate rooms in the hotel will have different styles of dance in them, including salsa, bachata, and kizouk. The event is sponsored by Mambo Exquisite Dance and The Gewpa Boys Entertainment, both promising a weekend packed full of music, culture, and dance of Afro-Latin heritage. Come watch some of the best dancers perform at the festival this year.
